Signed up for FTTH to replace my current ADSL service. Will my Netgear N300 2200V2 route be compatible with the fibre installation, or will I have to get a new route?

If your router has a WAN port you should be able to use it. I highly doubt that this model has a WAN port though.
You can check on the netgear community forum there seems to be alot of discussion about this model. Not sure if you have the Telkom branded model or the original Netgear version

You need a router that can do the PPPoE authentication (ie your Telkom username & password) and that has a WAN port (or LAN port configurable as WAN as the Huawei can do).
I looked at your modem specs and unfortunately it doesn't work like this so you will need a new router. Hopefully your fibre provider will give you one as part of your package.

Thanks guys for your replies. Consensus is that it is highly unlikely that my route is compatible. It does have 4 LAN ports but not sure one of these is WAN enabled.
