I received an SMS from Telkom saying my ADSL line is activated and I can connect my modem to self-install. It doesn't work when I try though saying that it failed. When I phone for technical assistance there is just no answer. Does anyone know what Ican do?

I would suggest you give us a step by step run down summary of what you have done and where you get to ... then we can see how to help.
Telkom on phone will respond, but set aside at least 30 to 45 minutes before they even answer due to call volumes
