Call stuck in "IT" for over 3 weeks

I've requested a line move which has been escalated multiple times, yet is not moving past "being processed in IT" with high priority. This has been the status for over 3 weeks, nothing is being done. Is there anyway to resolve this or should I just cancel my account and come terms with the fact that my only option is to go with alternative wireless solution as telkoms IT department are unable to load a request onto their system so that  their technicians to do anything.
