Everytime I try to access a website I get redirected to the telkom customer portal and need to login. Even after login i still cannot access websites.
This started happening over the weekend.
This happens on all devices,
Rebooted and switched off the modem
Cleared out the caches from the internet browsers
Happens with wireless or cable
Modem shows connection to Telkom Exchange / DNS etc
Telkom support ???? reboot the modem
are the lights flashing --> all green

Maybe you've used up your data?
If so you will be redirected to a webpage where you have to confirm you have used up your data and are now throttled.
Don't forget this is rip off Telkom so even if you're on an "uncapped" plan you'll still be capped.
I know, go figure!!!

Monthly data cap was used up :-( decided to use out of bundle option, activated it online.. guess what it still doesnt work..
Phoned the support desk again. Was told to phone the Sales department to activate. Does the sales department answer the phone .. No
Have to try again.. tomorrow
So much for making things easier and simpler

Thanks, thats what I had to do.
According to Telkom Sales, enabling the "Out of Bundle" option via the customer portal doesnt work.. Nice one Telkom
@ Telkom if the "Out Of Bundle" option on the portal doesnt work, remove it or inform your customers.
Update your Technical Support Teams as well, it will save everyone time and money.
