And over a month now and this problem still hangs over my line... Paying for a premium service... a technician has been out, spent three days trying to find the problem... but has not fixed it 100%, my line now also feels unstable.. I cant multi task without my ping going threw the roof!!!

@teceater, are your neighbours also experiencing the same problem? You sure there is no app set to sync at that time? Like Google Drive uploads or Google Photos. I notice on my line when my uplink is saturated my line is basically useless until the upload finishes. Do a tracert and see which hop the ping increases on.
