they do advertise a 20Mbps ADSL package on the Telkom Web page
They call it Telkom Elite xDSL, however they do qualify the description with:
I struggled to get 4Mbps in the Fourways area until I was able to switch to fibre.
Not sure if this answers your question though

Thank you for your reply.
This is why I am confused.
We need the Do plan since we want the landline service but here it only shows VDSL as the 20Mbps option and the coverage map for my area shows VDSL as the only option

@hongkongpom, I queried this recently as well because I have 4mbps ADSL and was looking to upgrade and the map showed that I can only get 4mbps VDSL. They came back to me and said that their system interrogates the max speed available and the highest technology on offer and combines that, so even though my DSLAM has ADSL, they showed VDSL. To my mind this is not correct but anyway.
If they offer 20mbps it can be either, default ADSL2+ and if the DSLAM supports VDSL then you can get VDSL rather. VDSL obviously requires a different Router though
