Help needed to cancel line installation and contract

Dear Telkom,

I had a rep visit me and he convinced me that I can get a 10meg VDSL line to my home and I sighed a special offer to get it.

Since then I have found out that the is no chance of ever getting 10meg on the copper in my area and that it would only get as fast as 4meg.

I already have a wireless 4meg connection so its pointless getting this 10meg line.

The line installation order number is 14904836

I would like to cancel the lot to avoid fighting about speed later.

Please help me do this.

Hi @Stroebel, thanks for coming to the Community. Let me just stress that this is not a Service Channel, but rather a peer 2 peer support channel. Please make use of our service channels to cancel this order - 

 

  • Contact us on our Social Media Channels
  • Chat to an Agent (an online chat with a Telkom representitive)
  • Reporta fault via SMS:    SMS "SERVICE" and your landline number to 30591. (SMS at no charge.)
  • Call the Call Center
    • Mobile: 081180 (free from a Telkom Mobile phone)
    • Home:   Sales - 10213  & Service - 10210 (free from a Telkom landline)
    • Business: Sales - 10213 & Service - 10217 (free from a Telkom landline)
