Not getting the internet we are supposed to.

We have our internet bundle at Mweb (8Mbps) but our line only provides 2Mbps so i contacted Mweb and they said that if i contact telkom to recreate our port or something our line would be fixed, i just wanted to know how true this is and if it will give us the 8mbps that we are paying for?

Sorry to see the happening to you - so frustrating . Unfortunately the community can’t really help with service issues , we’re customers like you in the forum ( no Telkom support agents here ).

Call Telkom support 10210 first ( early 8 am best ) for advice re the port reset suggested by Mweb, and if necessary report a fault. Then if no joy send a detailed complaint to a Telkom media support team with your account refs and full details of the issue  - their  media teams are good for decent feedback & results :-
