hi @IntenetUser007 hope you came right. you'll need to make sure you line is testing fine, and that there's no congestion for your exchange. you do this buy calling 101210, or cantacting Telkm on their solcial platforms. see link below. also, if it's not the line, it could be your internet account. you should send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org so they can investigate. include all your speed tests and monthly usage.

I had similar issue after a speed upgrade . Could be worth a try to call 10210 tech dept. for a 'port reset'. Then if no joy email the details with your fault log ref to email@example.com. That helped me.
Hope you come right.

I have the same problem as well. I have the 4Mbps uncapped internet. When I check my speed on speedtest it's on 3.89Mbps. But I start downloading the speed slows down to 1.78Mbps. I've already logged in the fault. I hope to hear from the technician during this week because this is frustrating.

I recently got the uncapped ADSL 4meg deal of ther month for January 2018.
the speeds that I am getting is no where near 4m/s. Download speed is at 1.8m/s and upload is around 0.4m/s.
for this past month, since the installation, it has just been complete and utter frustration...
I have visited the Telkom shop, where I signed up...they did a software upgrade on my router but advised that my line needs to be checked out...
I have logged a fault for my line but am yet to receive any further correspondance.
I am paying for a 4meg line...I know that it will not be 4meg but I at least expect something closer to what I am getting now...

I heard from one of my IT friends, that Telkom takes away bandwidth in certain areas, then routes it to the so called 'Rich people' because they were not happy about being throttled...
