During a severe thunderstorm on 12 Dec my ADSL line was struck by lightning. My line was dead after this. I reported the fault on the morning of 13 December. During the same day I phoned for progress where I was told that the fault is at the test centre and no technician has been assigned yet. It has been more than 5 days now and the progress keep being that the fault is at the test center and no technician has been assigned yet. In the meantime I have no internet and as I work from home this is a big problem.
This is absolutely the worst service ever. It seems like the only time Telkom has a response time is when you sign a contract. When you have finished signing the contract you are then caught in there net and they dont need to provide service any more.
