no resolution to landline problems

We have been complaining about our landline since the end of November last year. Our fault tracking only says it's been an issue since 14 December and is still "in progress". We first had slow internet, like 0.02Mbps, when we are paying for 4Mbps. Now the line is dead. Have reported to Telkom in excess of 25 times via online chat, cellphone and visiting the Telkom shop. Had technicians out more than 6 times and promises of visits. Last time we were told our cable was burnt but no one came back to repair. Then we were told it was a bulk fault and a few days later informed it was now all good. But we still had our burnt cable, hence line dead. Yesterday I was told again it was a bulk  fault given a ref number that doesn't even exist in the system. A second ref number was then given which showed the issue was reported 14th December.

When can we expect some decent customer service and a working line?


After this message, Telkom fixed the following day. Many thanks! Alas 3 days later internet gone again. Help please....
