recently upgraded my adsl line to 10Mbps & wanna know what speed i should be getting on a speedtest

[ Edited ]

Hi, recently upgraded to a 10Mbps ADSL as that is the maximum supported in my area but when doing a speedtest i dont think im getting what im actually paying for.

That is why im asking if anyone can tell me what is the minimum acceptable speed to get on a 10Mbps line.

if you are referring to the speed test then it is not really giving you the correct answers. Try http://speedtest-rba.isdsl.net to see what your download and upload speeds are. This should be about 1200kbps for download and 600kbps for upload. The true size of the bandwidth is never used as there are reserved threads for email, ftp, http etc
