Good news. I discovered today that www.wootware.co.za was working on my patched DNS settings, so I revisited the DNS settings and set them back to default, and a test of the problem sites that I knew of revealed that they are all working. So, it looks as though the Telkom DNS problem may have abated.
Also on the positive side, a contractor from Telkom arrived today and installed an LTE antennae, and it works well - so far the download and upload speeds are much improved, and consistent.
On the negaive side, or perhaps we can call it the "advice side".. This has taken a long time to resolve, and the feedback from Telkom during the process has been very poor. Keeping your customers informed of progress should be one of your key objectives - that's what service is all about. I'm sure that at some stage I'll get a message through facebook, or this forum, or an SMS, informing me/us that the access/DNS problem is resolved, but it will improve the confidence of all of your customers if the feedback, even if not all that positive, is given on a regular basis.

@Turckfg, thanks for the feedback, and agreed about keeping everyone updated. In this case the issue was a DDOS attach in London that affected our network so feedback was limited. Glad all is Ok though.

I was having this problem, I'm now using https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/articles/228007207-Windows-10-Configuration-Instructions
It seems to be working now. Was also able to connect to sites via a VPN.
Although a DNS flush might be the only thing needed.

Since today I also can't connect to a certain site (it's just a normal motorbike site - not gaming). It has worked until yesterday. I chatted with 2 Telkom agents today but no luck.
I'm on the Telkom LTE 20Gb + 20Gb (nightsurfer) package using the Huawei B315s- 936 router. Software is up to date. Using the 2300Mhz band. I have 2 external Poynting antennas - signal is very good.
The website I'm trying to access is: http://www.wilddog.za.net/forum/
From today I can't access this site. I'm in Cape Town Northern Suburbs area (De Tyger).
Please help - I'm desperate!!!!!
