When I have a Telkom sim in my mobile device and I create a mobile hotspot and then connect to that from other devices, I can see and connect and it tells me there is internet access, however I can't open any page no matter which browser I use. I've created a mobile hotspot using the same device with a Vodacom sim and have had no problem. This is true for two different devices I've used.
Thanks for any help.

Clearly Telkom doesn't give a **bleep** responding...
Is it not maybe a static IP problem?

This forum is a way for Telkom to provide support using the public rather than paying for a proper technical support system or forum.
We are all slaves of Telkom on this site.
You are not talking to Telkom when you post your question unfortunately. We are the public, just like you that can maybe offer help to our fellow Telkom suffers, I mean customers.
Saying that, try logging into the hotspot and go to the SIM admin tab. Then under profile, look for the profile that says "TelkomInternet".
Choose that one and save it.
