I have just received my first email sent 15:13 but nothing else. Thank goodness I have updated all my info and will be moving away from Telkom (Helkom?). Telkom's social services calls this outage an inconvenience - I call it a disaster. See the difference in urgency?

Well email service is not working again and as normal no reply on their social media platforms and after holding on for nearly an hour to log a fault, they tell you you can't log as it is in hand. What a waste. Well I have changed most of my email subscriptions and next to go is my ADSL.

Once again I have a problem receiving emails sent to my telkomsa.net mailbox. I have been experiencing this problem on and off for months now. This is unacceptable service. Telkom isn't even apologising or contacting their customer to explain what exactly the problem is. We also have no idea if this is going to be an ongoing problem. It looks like it is. Cursing the day I registered for a telkomsa.net email address. Its going to be a HUGE amount of work to change my email address to something more reliable.

Even on social media they just ignore. Lost banking statements and info for and from SARS, but they don't care. One of these days when AARTO comes into effect you won't be able to say it is due to an incapable company that you did not get your emails.

I have had the same problem since last Friday 31 May and all Telkm can say is tat it's a technical problem that is being attended to but they cannot give any idea of when it will be resolved. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

There is a story going around that Telkom is going to scrap email or going to make it very expensive. it was indicated that they can't keep up with the SP's like GMAIL that provide free email. Also indicated that some of the other SP's in the country don't provide emails why should they. It is going the same way as hotspots. Received a notification that they are going to work on the email system this week-end.

Email restored last night, but my mailbox is empty. New emails since restoration are coming through.
Can anyone suggest a way to get my missing emails returned? (last emails recieved were on June 4th).
@RedBaron- that's a disturbing story... I wonder what happened to "Telkom - your ISP for life"?
