Sim card not activated

Hi Name Andisile Ndevu

Bought a phone online via telkom app on 01 feb 2019 so happy to have finally received it,was told to wait 48 hours for sim to be activated unfortunatly it wasn't i called many times regarding the matter ooooh poor service they kept on passing me to other departments

Even now my sim card not yet activated (Hee bana kanti what's wrong with these consultants???

 

So dissapointed was expecting only the best from TelkomSmiley Sad

hi my name is blessing ngcobo form Durban umlazi I also have the same problem activating my sim for my wifi router, ICCID NO: 702 0018 0132349656, I have contacted sales and technical department but they keep on sending me back and forth. I have received IT NO:4150058 AND Incident No: 4128486 this has been going on since January and frankly I am frustrated. I just wanna cancel this whole contract and send the router back.. how can I do so, can anyone please help

Good day i'm having the same problem from last week my simcard is not being activated i 've been given a case number my case is being resolved untill today i'm still waiting every one keep making promises but never solved the issue

I have applied for a data deal contract for 10gb for R99 online, They delivered the sim card on the 13th December 2019. I then phoned Telkom to ask what’s the procedure now to get the simcard to be activate d they said it will be automatically be activated within 72 hours. Today it is the 06 January 2020 and the simcard is still not active. I have been phoning everyday since then and every time I am told they will escalate the matter to the relevant department and it will be active in 24hrs. How long does one have to wait before the query can be fixed? I have been patient enough and now I am thinking if maybe I should just cancel the contract since it doesn’t look like it will be resolved anytime soon. I cannot wait for a whole month for a simcard to be activated for a turnaround of 72 hours. I am really disappointed with Telkom and I am thinking maybe it was a mistake to move to it.  Please advise if the simcard will ever be active or must I cancel the contract .
