Telkom Mobile USSD Codes

Here are some of Telkom's useful USSD codes that let you check things like your balances or even buy bundles.

From your phone keypad or dialing screen, type in the code you need from the list below and then tap dial. After that, follow the responses and reply using the menu item numbers.

 

USSD Code

What does it do

*188#

Check Mobile Balance and get all your balances SMS’d to you

*123#

Mo'Nice promotional bundles

*180#

Mobile Account Menu (buy bundles, transfer airtime/data, manage spend limit, get device settings, change tariff, BIS)

*1#

Check what your mobile number is

*2#

Check what your IMSI is

*#06#

Check what your IMEI number is

*140*mobile number#

Send a Call Me

The specials on telkom differ as per price plan and based on service usage.

 

 

Telkom will collect data from you how you use their services i.e when you purchase data, etc..

the magic number is *123#

I get connection problem or invalid MMI code. This have been happening seings this morning.

I get connection problem or invalid MMI code. This have been happening since this morning. The other issue I have. Telkom will say I dont have enough airtime when I try to buy data. Even if I have more airtime. Please check my number why this is happening. It started in July till now. I have escalated this but no help.
