Telkom's new cancellation process May 18

Hi all,

Hope this might be useful re. cancellation issues reported in the community.

Telkom explains online cancellation process improved and fully implemented from end April 18  :-

Login to MyTelkom

Select manage Accounts

Select relevant service/account:

Select cancel applicable services

Sorry no, I have no reason to cancel my Telkom services -  but please do let us know whether you find the updated online process works - might help other forum members.

Found this on another thread, seems you need to scroll arrows -  hope it helps  :- 

 

This is Telkom’s advice on how to cancel an account, new online facility :-

 

Log onto the self-service portal at www.telkom.co.za

 

Go to Manage My Accounts 

Enter account number, starting with the number 3

Use arrows to get to “Cancel your Services”

Click on Go

Click on “Select Account” and then choose the account you want to cancel

Update requested details

Click Continue

Select number you want to cancel Update requested details

Click Continue

Upload requested documents, up to 5MB

Click Continue

Case number will be sent to you.

What happens when you want to cancel a device that has been stolen.... ? mine has and the referance number will be sent to that device and not mine.

Can somebody assist?

  • STEP 1: GO TO TELKOM PROFILE. Go to Telkom.co.za and select the Login button in the top right corner to login to your My Telkom profile (login to the old service portal).
  • STEP 2: SELECT SERVICES mcdvoice customer survey
  • STEP 3: UPLOAD AND SUBMIT.
