I recently upgraded my fibre line to uncapped from a soft cap. At no stage in the process did the Telkom rep advise me that my entire email box would be deleted and start from scratch... 5 years worth of emails disappear and I am told by the unhelpful agents that its just the way it is and that I should have been notified.. by whom? when? no email warning or sms.. how do I restore my old mailbox given that my account, email address etc is still exactly the same... I am spitting mad.

With Telkom if you do anything to your account it gets wiped. You might even be lucky keeping your existing email adress. That is why I have crwated a GMAIL account.
