Contract cancelled erroneously by Telkom

My mobile contract was erroneously cancelled by Telkom without authorisation and without me being informed.  I am now unable to make or receive voice calls, send or receive text messages, etc.  I have called Telkom 4 times over 4 days and my contract has still not been reinstated.  I have never missed a payment and have been a loyal Telkom customer for a number of years now.  It is now almost two weeks and Telkom has still not managed to reactivate my account.  How could Telkom cancel my contract in error like this and then still take this long to reinstate the contract.  I have emphasised to the Telkom call centre agents that I didn't cancel the contract and yet it is taking them this long to rectify their own error.


Telkom needs to address this as a matter of urgency as it is the first time in a number of years that I am now thinking of using a different service provider.
