Service cancelled and still receiving SMS bill reminder

I cancelled my ADSL and landline service on the Telkom portal, but I am still receiving SMS's saying I need to pay my account and the amount increases every month. I spoke to a call centre agent who confimed the account is closed and I am no longer receiving accounts via email . How do I stop the SMS's and am I still being billed?
