I'm a FREEme prepaid user. Calling Telkom landline numbers are categorised as free and use credit from "VOICE/VIDEO, Once-off Per Second Telkom Mobile and Telkom Fixed Voice", as expected. However, toll-free numbers (in my particular case 0800 020 3772), verified as being Telkom numbers via https://apps.telkom.co.za/number-verification/public/verifynumber, use credit from "VOICE/VIDEO, Once-off Per Second All-Net Voice", i.e. I am paying for a toll-free Telkom number. Why is this?

Yesterday I had R40 something rand eaten up by the following Telkom numbers waiting for service and being redirected and not being helped. 10217 27min, 081180 25min, 1023 and 1021 17min and I am a prepaid Freeme user
