Hi

 

I have the same problem of cancelling a month to month LTE  service and took uncapped. The problem is they bill me for 4 months still on service I cancelled and it is still active.

 

Callcentre cannot solve the issue. Call every week but getting the runaround.

 

Does anybody have an telkom ombudsman to call so I can have this resolved in a profesional manner?

Almost the same story in our case! Since the Body Corporate of her apartment complex refused to repair or replace the landline running to her flat last year my mother-in-law has been trying to close her Telkom account.
After submitting the second Seervice Cancellation form (definitely to the correct email address, and acknowleged) I started phoning those pleasant and helpful people at 10210. I have been informed "Yes, I see your request, I have spoken to the relevant department, they will action it this week, here is your reference number" on at least two occasions, and still the monthly accounts roll in... Recently she received an SMS threatening legal action!
Any suggestions, please?

We write here because we get NO response from either 10210 or FB! (Personally I have contacted them and sent the same documentation through 18 times now for a cancellation - and it just gets 'escalated' into oblivion. Each time I contact one of these channels I have to start from scratch and send the documents AGAIN.)

Good afternoon,

 

I have recently moved to the UAE in June 2017. I have been trying to cancel my Smartbroadband Wireless 50GB account ever since.

 

I subsequently travelled to South Africa in December and cancelled the month to month contract. I have then since been billed and paid for January 2018. In conversation with one of the telephonic agents, they stated that this is a 24-month contract which is completely untrue. 

 

I enjoyed the service when I was in South Africa but I really feel abused having to still pay R699 for a product that I am not using. Can someone assist? How can I cancel the payment?

I have had simply the poorest possible service from Telkom. My line has been down since 10 Feb. As a result I last week requested my contract to be cancelled - a 30 day cancellation period being applied. The following day I was informed that Telkom would not repair my landline thus effectively breaking the contract. I now wish to take up a Webafrica VOiP contract. Will Telkom for once show a customer some respect by cancelling my contract with them with immediate effect and allow me to have a working home telephone once again? Or must I wait a further 30 days to be well shot of them?

I will ''listen'' with interest to the reply.

I have been trying to cancel my land line and DSL for 4 months.  I have emailed the cancellation form, spent hours on the phone,  and each time I am told it has been escalated,  Just received my latest account and I am still being charged.

Can somebody please let me know what one must do to get Telkom to listen and act.  Thanks
