I have an online account already but I could not link one of my number.
I always have the same error "Invalid ID/Passport and mobile number combination".
Perhaps the agent who rica'd this number miscaptured my ID number, I already tried to get some assistance in Telkom Sandton City Branch but they could not help me, I even was in strugle to do a sim swap with them since they said that my details does not match to the one related to that number in the system.
Also, I could not change my tarrif with any existing tariff since it's on the old prepaid data promotion.
Kindly advise if there is another way to link this number or advise what I should do.

I am also getting this error: "Invalid ID/Passport and mobile number combination."
Can anyone from Telkom assist? It seems like the linking functionality is not working at all.

When you register for Text Message, you can choose which services and accounts you want to access. During registration, we will send a text message with a unique activation code to verify the phone number. Enter the activation code to successfully register your phone Firstbank card
