No Telkom LTE and poor call quality

I've been experiencing issues with Telkom Mobile for a number of weeks now. First it began with the loss of LTE signal in my area. I have tested in several other areas in the Northern part Durban all the way down as far as Port Edward. Gradually over this period the call quality seemed to have deteriated as well. I have yet to find any LTE signal in Tongaat Beach, Westmead and Port Edward. 


The worst part of it all is that Telkom Mobile are unaware of any issues at all yet sites like downdetector are spammed with the very same issue  https://downdetector.co.za/status/telkom-mobile and the coverage map https://downdetector.co.za/status/telkom-mobile/map/
