@MrTeabag This forum is for Peer 2 Peer support and not for Service queries, but please update your profile with contact details, and we will direct this to a team dealing with this.

I updated my details. Don't think it will help. I have phoned 3 times I went to the store 3 times. I stopped and reversed the debit order! So on my side I am sorted. On telkoms side I wish the CEO would phone me. I would like to give him a piece of my mind.

You are not alone. I actually just joined here to find members like yourself and find out if any of you can tell me who I can contact about them ACTUALLY stealing my money. Should I just go to the police or directly to small claims court or does anyone have any better solutions?
My account had a positive balance of nearly R600 in it when I closed my account in May. In June they disconnected my line but they continued billing me right up till now in December.
We did not make 3 calls, we made 23 calls and emailed who they told us to email and called again and emailed again, resent my id multiple times and after 6 months of having no service all the money we had in the account is now stolen from us and they are still billing us. Every single call ends with a "Send us an email and we will get back to you within 20 days" followed by a next bill and nothing happening...
This is 100% theft and there is no other way to put it. So please, does anyone have any ideas of who I should go to to get this matter resolved? The police, small claims court or someone else?

I just sent my latest invoice to Carte Blanche.
Let's see if THAT helps...
Clearly calling and emailing does not. I urge other people with the same problem as me to contact Carte Blanche with their stories also so they might be more motivated to embarrasse Telkom on national television.
Hopefully that will get them to respond and give back the money they stole from me.

@NC your response is sooo funny. What you are saying is that this forum is for people being abused by hellkom to try and console each other. Hellkom won't be contributing with proper constructive feedback to solve problems like this. Oh an yes it is a problem, up to date you have stolen ~12K from me. I thought I learned my lesson with your pathetic version of ADSL only to find you CAN do worse, you fondly call it LTE. PLease google it.

I am rather desperate to get this issue resolved because I am moving at the end of February and at the new location I can't use my WISP so I will be needing a Telkom line again but I do NOT want to move this line over while you still owe me nearly a R1000 by now and then try and sort it out afterwards.
I need to get this issue resolved before I move so the sooner the better but it's already taken you 6 months... what are the chances you will sort it out within the next 2?

I’m fed up with these thief’s. I’ve moved to another country and cancelled my contract 9 months ago. After a number of costly phones calls and emails the incompetent people at Telkom has still not cancelled my contract. If I can give anybody advice, stay away from Telkom. They might be cheaper than other service providers but when you want to cancel your services they steal your money and have zero customer service. Telkom is the worst company I’ve ever encountered I can’t not wrap my head around how incompetent their staff is and how they can continue to steal my money after I’ve sent through my cancellation form 7 times and after I’ve spoken to a number of call centre agents where they promised that the services will be cancelled. Even if they wake up some day and cancel my service I will never get my money back from them. Pathetic!!
