Huawei B618

Hi, I would like to migrate from Telkom ADSL to LTE but not too keen to sign a 24-month contract. I have an LTE/LTE-A Huawei B618 router and would to like from the community whether it'll work on the Telkom LTE network.

Re: Huawei B618

Hi, yes it will work. Note there are 2 models of the B618s floating around; B618s-22d and B618s-65d. I am using the B618s-22d and get an average d/l of 10mb/s. The 65d is the ideaal one for telkom LTE-A as it connects to TDD 2300mhz.

I want to buy a Huawei 618 router, so i should buy Huawei B618s-65d, right?

I found one shop is selling Huawei B618 Router, but they said the Huawei B618s-65d is not available: https://www.4gltemall.com/huawei-b618-lte-cat11-router.html

Re: Huawei B618

After checking the Telkom LTE network uses band 3/40, and both of the Huawei B618s-22d and B618s-65d (check the lte bands of B618 at https://www.store4g.com/huawei-b618/) are support LTE band 3, so the B618 could work on the Telkom.

Re: Huawei B618

Telkom now sells the B618-65d router. So it can be purchased with a month to month sim. Thanks

Thank you. The Telkom Huawei B618s-65d is locked or unlocked (SIM free)?
