Mobil Hotspot

I am having challenges to connect my phone to my colleagues mobile data through the Mobile hotspot connection. I followed instructions that I was given telephonically by the Telkom consultant which were to switch on her mobile hotspot icon, switching wifi on my phone, put the password given from her phone to my phone. I get the report that the phone is connected but when I go to the internet I cannot access it. Please assist.

@TD sounds like you doing it all right. Your colleagues phone must have both Mobile Data and Mobile Hotspot enabled, and then of course they must have data.

Thank you for your response thesuspect. I realised that I did not have my colleague's mobile data opened. Once I had opened it, it worked. Thanks.
