After the storm we had in East London last night, my router doesnt work anymore(it turns on but never gets internet possible RJ9 port must've blown), I have a spare one from my friend,how do i go about getting this replaced?

Telkom will not replace it.
Our router was 3 months old and just stopped working.
We sent it in for assessment and they advised that the damage was due to a power surge.
Despite there being no lightning or power failure.
I think this is a standard answer for Telkom not to honour the warranty.
Now we have an ASDL contract and cannot use it
