monitoring my wifi router

Good day people, can anyone tell me how to monitor devices connected to my D-link router. I want to be able to disconnect and connect an unwanted device(s).

Re: monitoring my wifi router

Hi @Pastorwale

There's a way of viewing IP addresses connected to the D'link on the router interface but it doesn't identify the devices & includes any wifi printers, speakers etc which may be on your network.

You could remove unwanted devices from your wifi network by changing the wifi password on the router , then reconnect only the acceptable devices to wifi with the new P/W.   Or you might find info on this link useful :-

Hope this helps

Re: monitoring my wifi router

If you need to monitor you should apply to do, Launch an Internet browser from a computer or wireless device that is connected to the network, Type http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com. Enter the router username and password. Select Attached Devices. To update this screen, click the Refresh button. If you face any issue I recommend to visit Netgear support team.
