A telephone line is completely dead because a tree fell on the telephone "line" that is connected to the pole (outside) just before 15h00 today. Chatting with consultants service closed at 13h00. I wanted to log a fault online and the automated response is "Unable to report a fault on telephone number ...... Please check if you have any outstanding invoice by logging into your Telkom account on the website". I have a credit balance & have already paid an invoice that is due on 5 January 2019 by R33 more. Note that I cannot use the "dead" landline to log a fault. Please assist!
