Price increases on a 24month contract

I have recently noticed that my 24month contract that I am only in for a year so far has been increases by R49. When I signed up I signed up for R605 for 24months.
I have never ever with all the contracts I entered experienced this.
I called the call centre and they have dismissed my dispute even though I was told by one of their agent that the people on contract will revert back to normal price after increase and will then be prorate on my bill.
I think this is just criminal on Telkoms part because I have entered this contract because of the price point and now I have something that is not in my budget.
What to do regarding this.
