Billing and Recovery - Telkom Bill recovery from Debt-IN

Hi There,


I could not pay my Telkom bill for some reason. Today I have received an email from "Debt-IN" saying I need to make my pending payments into their Account within next 7 days otherwise a legal action could be taken against me.


Since I am not residing in SA currently, I am not finding a way to cross-check with Telkom to confirm if the "Debt-IN" is a valid recovery agency, however I have responded to that email seeking for more information of my account before making any payments.


Can anyone from Telkom confirm that if Debt-IN is an authorized agency that I can settle up my bill with, or can I settle my bill with Telkom itself, so that I can avoid these kind of third party agencies.
