The Lewisham area has been without landlines since 08/03/2018. This includes the switchboard of an old age home (!) and private landlines of the elderly. Telkom has provided different reasons for the outage and none of them are acceptable because we cannot see anybody working in any area around our Home. For every enquiry to trace progress, it costs pensioners expensive airtime on cellphones and the result remains the same: NO INDICATION OF WHAT IS GOING ON AND HOW LONG THIS IS GOING TO LAST. I have emailed Telkom, I have phoned Telkom, I have just about riled up everybody - without success!!! CAN ANYBODY AT TELKOM PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE JUST REPLY AND LET US KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?!
