No landline, no communication, poor service

We have been with out a land line since around 9:30 am 26th May. Our reference number is 243CWK270416. Every time we phone to enquire we get the same response a technician will look at it. Yesterday (a week after the fault was reported) we received an SMS to say the fault Is in hand - here we are 24 hours later and we are in exactly the same position. We are paying for a service that we at not receiving and we are spending money on data to keep our business running. Any suggestions on how to get this resolved other than ditching Telkom altogether which of course is a fine option.

Best you can do is to just keep bugging the call centre. Tell them you want to escalate the fault and be sure to mention that you run a business from the line.

@Hilary58, our technical team advise that there is an area fault due to road works. This usually takes longer to resolve.

What do you do if your cel signal doesn't reach the home where the landline is faulty or dead .. we have to turn on an aerial that gives us blinding headaches just to be told we have a technician .. the tech guys are cool but the problem continues. I plan to terminate the service if I don't get some real info or a solution in a week.

my landline is not working and I logged a fault on the 18 November 2016. I am still waiting for it to be fixed!!! I received a SOS to rate the service of a technician that I haven't spoken to or met. The problem was never resolved but according to the status, its resolved. I phoned on the 9 December 2016 and I now get a new reference. Pathetic service. 924CRK181116 / 290CRK091216

Our ADSL line in Bianca Crescent, Montana Park has been off since Wedensday, 31-05-2018. It is not possible to log a fault, as the same message prevents it:   

There are existing faults linked to your service. If you wish to continue logging another fault, please press the "Continue Button".

We are busy attending to fault(s) which is associated with telephone number

 

This is a business line - can anyone please send me a tel nr to phone to try and get this resolved a.s.a.p.

I don't know if I am wasting my time again but lets see.

 

My landline went down 8th June Ref 28700092

It was closed as repaired but nobody ever checked.

I logged another fault 18th June Ref 28799024 and nothing has happened.

 

I have spoken to a technician on the side of the road doing repairs!

I have been in to your Cresta Walk In centre!

I have sms'd the fault!

I have chatted 100 times on the chat on line!

I have sent tweets!

I have sent messages to Facebook!

 

AND YOU ARE A COMMUNICATIONS COMPANY??????????????????????????

 

 

 

What else must I do to get this landline working again?
